Check list – before arrival
You will have to deal with many issues when planning your studies and life abroad. Wondering how to prepare? We have a list of the most important things to remember about and start planning as soon as possible. Visa/entry requirements: If you are a Non-EU citizen you will generally need a visa to enter Poland. Please note that the process of obtaining the visa may take a few weeks up to even several months. Don’t wait too long – start the process as soon as possible.
Health insurance: As a student from abroad you are required to have a valid health insurance. You must have it from the day you arrive. You may consider a public health insurance or a private one.
Accommodation: You may consider accommodation at the AWF student dormitories or find a private accommodation in Wroclaw. There are numerous websites and services that will help you find accommodation in Wroclaw. But don’t wait too long – usually in early September the best offers are already booked.
Planning your journey: Remember to plan your journey carefully in advance. When traveling to Poland and to Wroclaw you may consider traveling by plane, train, bus or car.
